Wild Dreams Hospitality in Johannesburg is seeking a Tour Sales Consultant to drive bookings across South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. This client-facing role requires converting inquiries into confirmed bookings and meeting weekly and monthly targets.

You will manage communications across WhatsApp, email and calls, prepare itineraries, issue invoices and gather post-safari feedback, while staying flexible with hours on a 6-day work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in travel, tour consulting or hotel operations.
• Proven track record selling Southern Africa (SA, Botswana, Namibia).
• Strong written and verbal communication for English-speaking international market.
• Ability to handle multiple client requests under deadline pressure.
• Highly organised with willingness to work varied hours.

• Prepare detailed itineraries covering all client requests and services.
• Generate accurate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Gather post-safari feedback consistently and resolve any concerns raised.
• Communicate booking or itinerary changes clearly, both before and during trips.
• Resolve issues early to maintain a smooth client experience and high satisfaction.
• Drive achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets.

A safari and travel company is expanding its sales team and is looking for a commercially minded TOUR SALES CONSULTANT to drive bookings across South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. This is a target-focused, client-facing role for someone who can sell these destinations with confidence and turn enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Core Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years in the travel industry, specifically tour consulting or hotel operations
• Proven track record selling Southern Africa as a destination, including South Africa, Botswana and Namibia
• Diploma or degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management or Hospitality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with the English-speaking international market
• Ability to handle multiple client requests efficiently under deadline pressure
• Highly organised, with willingness to work varied hours when necessary
