Senior Sales Consultant – Cape Town, Western Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Consultant for a luxury safari lodge. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a strong background in luxury hospitality, safari tourism or the travel industry, who is passionate about building client relationships, driving revenue and promoting exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients and other key industry partners.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and expand the client portfolio.

Manage existing accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery and long-term client retention.

Promote the lodge’s accommodation, facilities and unique safari experiences to prospective clients.

Prepare and present proposals, quotations and tailored packages in line with client requirements.

Negotiate rates, contracts and commercial agreements to achieve business objectives.

Monitor sales performance, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Work closely with reservations, marketing and lodge operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Represent the property at industry events, trade shows and client meetings where required.

Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports and contribute towards achieving revenue targets.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior sales role within luxury hospitality, safari tourism or the travel industry.

A strong understanding of the luxury safari market and its distribution channels.

An established network of travel trade contacts would be highly advantageous.

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain strong client relationships.

Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify revenue opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Proficiency in relevant sales systems, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

A professional, proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: R50,000 – R60,000 per month, depending on experience.
