Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a field service engineering role within the telecommunications sector.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile network technologies (e.g., 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), transmission systems, and IP networking.
• Proficiency in using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with site surveys, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of telecom infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of RF principles and antenna systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to fault finding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.
