About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, security, and scalability of their VoIP, PBX, and other communication platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, PBX platforms, and related communication hardware/software.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and quality of service.
• Manage user accounts, extensions, call routing, and voicemail configurations.
• Implement and maintain security protocols for communication systems to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for all telecommunications infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in telecommunications and recommend system upgrades or improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding communication systems.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Systems Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP protocol, and PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Cisco CallManager).
• Experience with cloud-based communication platforms is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network security principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex telecommunications issues effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA Voice) are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
