Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Sales Manager to lead sales operations in Randburg, Gauteng. This role focuses on developing and executing sales plans, building a top-performing team, and driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and existing account expansion.

The ideal candidate has deep telecom knowledge, proven sales leadership experience, and exceptional negotiation and relationship-management skills to expand market presence and meet ambitious targets in Randburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications or related field; MBA or sales cert is a plus.
• 5–7 years sales experience in telecommunications; 2–3 years in sales leadership.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets; strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to hit revenue targets and market-share goals.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in telecommunications.
• Manage key client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
• Collaborate with marketing/product teams to align efforts with company goals.
• Negotiate complex contracts and service agreements with clients.
