The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 and a Bachelors degree or be in the final year of IT/Engineering, with strong Excel, SQL Server, Word and Projects skills, plus excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Bachelor's degree or final year in IT, Engineering or related field (with limited subjects in 2027).
• Proficient in MS Excel, SQL Server, MS Word & MS Projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail-orientated and analytical.
• Must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system related problems and escalate to the relevant system providers when needed.
• Support departments with system-related queries.
• Provide ongoing support on project solutions to operational teams.
• Work closely with business analysts, DevOps and developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Identify areas for project requirements to address ongoing issues.
• Identify upskilling needs for operational teams and train champions.
• Provide general reporting on trends and productivity.
• Assist with report creation, interpretation and data restructuring when necessary.
• Prioritise tasks and apply a systematic approach to problem solving.
• Coordinate resources in teams to resolve issues effectively.
