Job summary

Delta Scan (Pty) Ltd is a professional engineering company delivering survey-grade reality capture, structural condition audits, and Pr Eng-signed deliverables across Southern Africa. The Business Developer/Technical Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by engaging engineers, asset owners, and maintenance managers about audits, scan-to-BIM, GPR, NDT, and mine shaft inspection.

You will build a robust pipeline, translate technical capability into commercial value, travel to site

Qualifications

Essential degree in engineering or surveying with technical understanding.
2+ years in business development or technical sales in engineering/industrial services.
Existing network in mining, FMCG, or industrial sectors is a plus.
Proven pipeline building and deal closing capability.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including to mines and facilities.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business with mining, energy, industrial and infrastructure clients.
Build and manage a personal pipeline from first contact to signed contracts.
Represent Delta Scan's services: audits, scan-to-BIM, GPR, NDT, software capabilities.
Translate site problems into proposals with the engineering team.
Attend site visits and industry events to generate leads.
Lead proposal development and client presentations.
Maintain and grow relationships for repeat business.
Track market activity and industry trends to feed business decisions.
Meet or exceed revenue, pipeline and new-logo targets.
