Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for Gauteng to drive new business development within engineering sectors. The role requires identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering technically appropriate solutions across the sales cycle.

You will collaborate with technical and production teams, promote precision engineering products, and aim to meet or exceed sales targets while growing key accounts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Previous sales experience in engineering or precision engineering.
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets.
• Technical understanding of engineering products or services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in engineering and manufacturing.
• Generate leads via cold calling, networking, referrals, market research, and client visits.
• Manage full sales process from prospecting to quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Promote and sell precision engineering products and services to new and existing customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and engineering clients.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.
• Conduct regular client visits and presentations.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity for opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical, production, and internal sales teams to meet requirements.
• Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
