Placements24, a leading recruitment consultancy in George, Western Cape, is seeking a Technical Recruitment Specialist to source, screen, and place candidates in IT, engineering, and manufacturing. You will work with hiring managers to understand requirements and assess suitability beyond technical skills.

You will build a strong pipeline of technical professionals, manage interviews, offers, and onboarding, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience with a focus on technical/IT roles.
• Strong understanding of technical domains (software, networks, data, mechanical).
• Proven ability to source passive candidates through research and networking.
• Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with technical professionals and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract candidates for technical positions using job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and suitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with a diverse pool of technical candidates.
• Collaborate with clients to understand staffing needs, culture, and job specs.
• Manage the interview process and provide feedback to candidates and clients.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate onboarding for successful candidates.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruitment.
• Contribute to business development by identifying potential new clients in the tech sector.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the CRM system.
