Network Finance is seeking a high-performing Collections Consultant for its Kempton Park-based operations in Gauteng. The role focuses on managing challenging conversations, overcoming objections, and driving payment arrangements to meet targets.

Experience in debt review is advantageous but not essential; a proven background in collections or debt recovery and a track record in a target-driven environment are what matter most.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in collections or debt recovery.
• Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Excellent verbal communication with confident telephone presence.
• Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve collection targets.
• Resilient personality with the ability to handle rejection and high-pressure conversations.
• Strong numerical ability and good CRM, computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding outstanding accounts and drive payment arrangements and collections.
• Negotiate payment solutions while handling objections professionally.
• Work towards individual and team collection targets and performance measures.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and arrangements.
• Identify appropriate solutions based on customers' financial circumstances while protecting the company's collection objectives.
• Ensure all collection activity and customer information are accurately captured on the CRM and systems.
