Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in Sandton, South Africa is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Surgery - Biosurgery & Breast portfolio. The role drives growth by developing markets, leading distributor teams, and building trusted healthcare stakeholder relationships.

You will lead commercial strategy, demand planning, and partnerships with distributors, government entities, and key opinion leaders to accelerate BD’s presence in SA and SSA markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in the medical device/healthcare sector in SA and SSA.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a complex matrix.
• Strong networking and relationship-building with customers and distributors.

Responsabilités

• Establish and strengthen partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers in healthcare.
• Own demand planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate sales.
• Develop relationships with government bodies, MOH, and key opinion leaders to influence policy and funding.
• Identify growth opportunities within the Surgery portfolio and lead distributor performance management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to support business objectives.
