Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Business Development Manager for Surgery in Biosurgery & Breast portfolio to accelerate growth in South Africa and SSA. You will lead market development, manage key partnerships, and drive demand planning and financial forecasting to achieve sales targets.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams to influence policy, funding priorities and strengthen the BD brand across the healthcare ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the medical device, healthcare of South Africa and SSA.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence in complex matrix organizations.
• Customer-centric leader focused on healthcare outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Establish and strengthen partnerships with key decision-makers, influencers, and opinion leaders across the healthcare ecosystem.
• Own demand planning, inventory forecasting, annual budgeting, and ongoing financial forecasts to ensure accurate sales.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with government entities, the Ministry of Health, key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to influence healthcare policies, funding priorities, regulatory frameworks and strengthen the BD brand presence.
• Proactively identify and pursue new growth opportunities within the Surgery portfolio by demonstrating market intelligence, emerging trends, and evolving customer needs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to accelerate growth.
• Lead distributor performance management and channel optimization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activities and customer needs to inform business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with BD policies, quality standards and ethical business practices.
• Drive execution excellence and foster a high‑performance culture.
