Placements24 is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer for the Mining & Resources sector, based in Mahikeng, North West. You will build robust pipelines for geologists, mining engineers, and executives, using advanced sourcing tools and passive candidate engagement to deliver a steady stream of qualified candidates.

You will collaborate with Recruitment Consultants to understand client needs, map talent pools, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

5+ years of talent sourcing or recruitment in Mining & Resources.
Proven ability to identify and engage niche technical and operational talent.
Excellent understanding of the mining lifecycle and industry challenges.
Expert proficiency in sourcing tools, Boolean search, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Strong research and analytical skills; ability to communicate remotely.

Responsibilities

Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill mining roles.
Map talent pools, identify competitors, and monitor industry trends for Mahikeng.
Utilise sourcing tools, Boolean strings, databases, and networking.
Engage candidates with compelling outreach to build relationships.
Screen and pass qualified candidates to Recruitment Consultants.
Maintain talent pipelines for critical mining roles.
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience during engagement and referrals.
Stay informed about safety regulations and mining advancements.
Support employer branding in the Mahikeng mining community.
