Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract candidates for hard-to-fill roles within the Mining & Resources sector.
• Conduct extensive market research to map talent pools, identify key competitors, and understand industry trends relevant to Mahikeng, North West.
• Utilize a variety of sourcing tools and techniques, including advanced LinkedIn searches, Boolean strings, professional databases, and networking.
• Engage directly with potential candidates through compelling outreach messages to build relationships and generate interest.
• Screen and assess candidates' qualifications and experience at a high level before passing them to Recruitment Consultants.
• Collaborate closely with Recruitment Consultants and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles within the mining and resources industry.
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the initial engagement and referral process.
• Stay informed about safety regulations, operational practices, and technological advancements in the mining sector.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our client's employer brand within the Mahikeng, North West mining community.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, with a significant specialization in the Mining & Resources sector.
• Proven success in identifying and engaging with niche technical and operational talent.
• Excellent understanding of the mining lifecycle, key roles, and industry challenges.
• Expert proficiency in using sourcing tools, Boolean search, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
