Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience in the retail sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with operational objectives.
• Advise on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
• Drive talent management including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance appraisal processes.
• Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver HR training programs for managers and employees.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
• Champion employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
• Manage HR aspects of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
