Placements24 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks a detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our HR team. You will develop and manage competitive compensation structures, administer benefits programs, and ensure compliance with SA labor laws while delivering insights from salary data.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, proficiency in HRIS (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel, and a bachelor's degree in HR, Finance or Business Administration. Experience in Durban preferred.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits Analyst or similar HR role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
Solid understanding of compensation philosophies, job evaluation, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

Analyze salary market data and conduct job evaluations to ensure competitive compensation.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Develop and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive programs.
Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits data for management.
