Placements24 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, is seeking a Senior Compensation and Benefits Analyst to design, implement, and administer our compensation and benefits programs in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 5+ years in C&B, knowledge of SA labor law, expertise in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, Excel and HRIS, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will partner with HRBPs and management to optimize total rewards and drive talent retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive compensation and benefits analysis experience.
• Proven ability in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and incentive plan design.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law related to compensation and benefits.
• Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market compensation data and industry trends to develop competitive salary structures and incentive plans.
• Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct job evaluations and ensure accurate job grading and salary benchmarking.
• Administer all compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits costs, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation pertaining to compensation and benefits.
• Develop communication materials to effectively explain compensation and benefits programs to employees.
• Participate in HR projects related to total rewards strategy and implementation.
• Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and management on C&B matters.
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes in compensation and benefits.
