Job summary

Italtile is seeking a Store Operator to oversee daily store operations and sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service and strong team execution.

You will manage stock, merchandising standards, and KPIs while leading a team, including weekend and holiday shifts as required, to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• 2 years of management experience in retail.
• Proficiency in SAP software and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.

This role requires a well-rounded individual capable of managing operations independently under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring team success.

• Manage and monitor product categories, ensuring accurate weekly stock counts and well- organized displays.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed monthly performance targets (KPIs).

Operations & Inventory Management:

• Oversee stock levels, inventory processes, and warehousing operations to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct regular stock audits in line with established procedures.
• Maintain product displays according to merchandising standards for an enhanced shopping experience.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with administrative and operational protocols.
• Support the team with customer transactions and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Matric or equivalent qualification

• 2 years of management experience within the retail environment (preferably within the group).
