Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager (Internal Applications Only) to protect and grow market share within a Store in line with company strategy. The role requires Grade 12, 2 years retail management experience, and strong accounting skills.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, be computer literate, and possess strong leadership, admin, HR, and OHSA knowledge. Own transport and cell phone are essential along with local work permit viability.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and minimum 2 years retail management experience
• Valid Drivers license
• Valid ID or work permit (local)
• Strong accounting skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate (basic)
• Own transport and cell phone
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety aspects in line with local OHSA and/or neighbouring Countries legislation
• Strong Human Resources skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to develop and implement a Store Business Plan aligned with company strategy
• Grow and protect market share by achieving sales budgets and growth objectives
• Support Customer Service strategy and achieve >95% customer audits
• Manage stock control, shrinkage, and stock takes
• Oversee cash handling, petty cash, and daily banking
• Support HR activities including recruitment, induction, training, and succession planning
• Promote safety per OHSA and maintain safety records
• Lead with integrity and drive results and planning
