The candidate must have Grade 12 and at least 2 years of retail management experience, strong accounting skills, and a valid driver's license. Ability to work under pressure, be computer literate, and possess robust HR and safety knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 2 years retail management experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Valid ID or valid work permit (local).
• Strong accounting skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Computer literate (Basic computer literacy).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Must have own transport and cell phone.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety aspects in line with OHSA/local legislation.
• Strong Human Resources skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to develop and implement a Store Business Plan aligned to Company strategy.
• Grow and protect market share by achieving sales budgets and growth objectives per category.
• Support Customer Service strategy, maintain customer audits above 95%, and ensure reliable delivery service.
• Assist with stock control, shrinkage management, PIC process, stock takes and stock movement.
• Assist with cash handling, debtors, petty cash, daily banking, and cash controls.
• Assist with fixed assets maintenance and protection of IT equipment and signage.
• Assist with HR: recruitment, induction, training and succession planning.
• Ensure OHSA safety standards and incident recording in line with local legislation.
• Maintain merchandising standards, correct planograms, and store housekeeping.
• Support profitability by following financial models, budgets and performance benchmarks.
• Contribute to CB Way controls, audits, and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and team motivation.
• Plan effectively and set clear priorities; delegate appropriately.
• Perform under pressure and stay focused on results.
• Monitor market information and respond to competitors' moves.
