Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Soweto is seeking a Goods Receiving Supervisor to manage stock receiving, labelling and data capture in the store environment. You will ensure accurate matching of stock to supplier documents and facilitate timely merchandising on the shop floor.

The role requires Grade 12 with 1–2 years related experience, strong numeracy, English communication, and a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while working shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 1 year related experience or minimum of 2 years related experience
• Ability to communicate in English and preferably the dominant language spoken in geographical area
• Above average numeric skills
• Proven ability to provide exceptional Customer service
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to work shifts and weekends

Responsibilities

• Receive / IBT stock from Suppliers and other Stores and ensure correct identification and balance to supplier documents and purchase orders
• Capture stock on the IT system within prescribed time limits and complete proof of delivery where required
• Label stock with correct SKU and ensure adherence to pricing policies and stock integrity
• Process inter‑branch transfers (IBT) in and out within set timeframes with proper documentation
• Maintain stock area by merchandising received stock and clearing the GRS office
• Ensure security and housekeeping standards in the Receiving area and response to supplier queries with excellent customer service
