Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in the Eastern Cape seeks a General Assistant for internal applications only. Deliver customer service in-store, assist with merchandising, price labelling and housekeeping within your area.

The role requires shift work, weekends and public holidays. English communication and basic maths are needed. Grade 10/12 and SA ID or work permit preferred. Work with the store team to ensure stock accuracy and a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 and 1 year work related experience OR Grade 12 without related work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive customer service in-store.
• Merchandise stock and ensure accurate shelf labelling.
• Maintain housekeeping in designated area and ensure safety.
