Placements24 is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Sports Event Coordinator to manage a variety of sporting events in Polokwane. You will oversee planning, logistics, vendor management and on-site coordination to ensure successful events and participant satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Event Management or related field, at least 3 years of experience in sports event planning, and strong communication, multitasking and budget skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and event planning tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

• Plan and manage all logistical aspects of sports events, from conception to post-event analysis.
• Coordinate with venues, suppliers, and external agencies to secure services and resources.
