Placements24 is seeking an experienced Retail Floor Manager for our Soweto store in Gauteng. You will lead the sales floor, drive service excellence, and manage day-to-day operations to maximize store performance.

The role requires strong leadership, retail operations expertise, and a passion for customer satisfaction. You will mentor staff, optimize merchandising, and ensure smooth POS transactions in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 or equivalent is required; a diploma is advantageous.
• Previous retail supervisory or management experience showing leadership abilities.
• Strong understanding of retail floor operations, customer service and sales strategies.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and lead the retail sales floor team, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer engagement.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Drive sales performance by coaching the team on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and exceeded.
• Oversee inventory levels, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising on the sales floor.
• Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Operate the POS system and oversee transaction accuracy.
• Contribute to staff training and development initiatives in Soweto.
