About the Role

Our client, a dynamic recruitment consultancy based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape , is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Sourcing Specialist with a focus on IT and Engineering sectors. This role is critical in identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent for a range of clients across diverse industries. You will be responsible for proactively building talent pipelines, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to find candidates for hard-to-fill positions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for technical talent, excellent research skills, and a deep understanding of the IT and Engineering job market within South Africa. Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source and identify qualified candidates for IT and Engineering roles using a variety of tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, Boolean search).
• Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate suitability and interest in potential opportunities.
• Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical skill sets within the IT and Engineering domains.
• Collaborate closely with Recruitment Consultants and Account Managers to understand specific role requirements and client needs.
• Engage passive candidates through compelling outreach and by effectively articulating value propositions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and talent market dynamics.
• Provide market intelligence on candidate availability and skill sets to the recruitment team.
• Assist in developing creative sourcing strategies to address challenging recruitment mandates.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, with a specific focus on IT and Engineering roles.
