Job summary

homechoice is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional showroom experience. You will engage customers, demonstrate products, communicate pricing and promotions, and convert visits into sales while processing orders accurately and maintaining store standards.

You will handle transactions, assist with stock and merchandising, follow policies, and adapt to shifts, including weekends and holidays. Requires Grade 12 and 1 year retail experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is the minimum requirement.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor to understand needs and convert to sales.
• Demonstrate products with features, benefits, pricing and promotions.
• Achieve personal sales targets, conversions, and productivity.
• Process orders, payments, refunds and credits accurately and timely.
• Maintain stock handling, merchandising and showroom standards.
• Follow cash handling procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with team to achieve showroom targets and campaigns.
• Participate in trainings, inductions and policy sign-offs.
