Job summary

Homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional showroom experience. You will engage customers, demonstrate products, and drive sales while processing orders and maintaining showroom standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail sales experience, a Grade 12/Matric, and a customer-focused mindset. Shift work including weekends and holidays is required, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor to understand needs and convert to sales.
• Demonstrate products with features, pricing, and promotions.
• Process orders, payments, refunds, and credits accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate records and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Support stock handling, housekeeping, and showroom standards.
