homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer and invites applications for a Showroom Manager to oversee day-to-day showroom operations, drive sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will lead a diverse showroom team, manage scheduling, training, stock control, and merchandising, and ensure strict adherence to budgets and policies during peak periods and promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a retail, sales-driven environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading and managing teams.
• Proven ability to manage performance, expenses, shrinkage, and customer service.
• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; tertiary qualification in Retail, Sales, or Marketing.
• Strong computer literacy and experience using retail systems and MS Office.
• Clear credit and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Drive showroom sales performance against agreed targets, budgets, growth objectives, and comparable store performance.
• Lead daily performance discussions and morning huddles, setting clear sales priorities and daily targets.
• Coach the team to improve conversion, upselling, cross-selling, average basket value, and acquisition.
• Ensure full execution of promotions, in-store merchandising and campaigns to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping, and showroom presentation.
• Manage stock, expenses, and compliance with policies and procedures.
