Job summary

Mr Price Group Technology invites applications for a Service Desk Technician. You will provide 1st line telephone and email support to store users across the group, troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.

You'll liaise with external service providers, support software used by suppliers, and follow the group’s service hours with an 8-hour shift, including weekends. Transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• IT diploma or certificate is required.
• Minimum 1 year in an IT or Helpdesk environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and email 1st line support to all computer users at all Stores within the Mr Price Group.
• Liaise with external service providers to resolve problems where required.
• Support our suppliers who use our software.
• You will be required to work a maximum of 40 hours, over a maximum of 5 days per week including Saturdays and Sundays.
• You would be required to work an 8-hour shift in line with the Service Desk operating hours.
• Your own reliable transport is preferred.
