Job summary

Astor Motor Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs to manage service and repair bookings, coordinate workshop activities and field service, and uphold excellent customer relationships. You will explain preventative maintenance, stay updated on EV systems and batteries, and spot sales opportunities while ensuring customers are informed throughout the process.

We’re looking for a Service Advisor who knows how to keep customers happy, technicians moving, and the workshop buzzing and humming. You’ll be the go-to person for customers, managing everything from service and repair bookings to workshop and field service coordination. You’ll understand customer needs, provide excellent service, keep customers updated throughout the repair and service process, build strong customer relationships and identify sales opportunities. You’ll also educate customers on preventative maintenance and vehicle care, while staying up to date with vehicles, EV systems, batteries and accessories.

Job Requirements

• Matric Certificate
• A valid Drivers License
• 2 years of Service Advisor experience within a franchised motor dealership or golf cart, motorcycle, powersports, agricultural equipment or related industry.
• Working knowledge of MS Office & Autoline or similar
• Excellent written and verbal English and Afrikaans communication skills
• Excellent sales ability
• A basic understanding of EVs
• Own reliable transport
• MUST Reside in the Northern Suburbs
• Stable work history
