Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team focused on advanced thermal management solutions. You will conceptualize, design, and validate thermal systems including heat exchangers and cooling loops for electronics and aerospace applications.

You will lead 3D CAD design, CFD analyses, and testing, collaborating with a remote team of engineers. A master's in mechanical engineering and 8+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermodynamics or Thermal Sciences
• 8+ years of professional experience in design and analysis of thermal systems
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA)
• Experience with CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+) and thermal analysis
• Strong communication and ability to work in a remote team

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of advanced thermal management systems and components
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Perform CFD, thermal, stress, and transient analyses
• Collaborate with a remote team of engineers to deliver integrated solutions
• Specify materials, select components, and define manufacturing processes for thermal applications
• Develop and execute testing and validation plans for thermal systems
