Placements24 is seeking a specialized Remote Mechanical Design Engineer focused on thermal systems to join a fully remote team. You will conceptualize, model, simulate, and validate thermal management designs across various applications with a geographically dispersed group.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, 6+ years of experience, and expert use of CFD/FEA and CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, ANSYS Icepak, COMSOL).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Thermodynamics/Heat Transfer.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in thermal management design.
• Proficiency in thermal CFD/FEA and CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize thermal management systems including heat sinks and cooling.
• Use CFD/FEA tools to analyze performance and iterate designs.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings in CAD software.
• Validate designs through simulations and testing; document results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
