Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee the monitoring of network performance, availability, and utilization using relevant tools.
• Develop and implement network operational procedures and best practices.
• Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution for network outages and performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, deployment, and customer support teams to address network issues.
• Develop and manage the operational budget for the NOC.
• Implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent network disruptions.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for NOC staff.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of network operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications network operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or similar operations team.
• In-depth knowledge of network monitoring tools, protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP), and network management systems.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewall, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in critical situations.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices is highly desirable.
