Job summary

Placements24 is expanding its Pretoria-based operations and seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to drive end-to-end recruitment for IT and software roles across South Africa. The role focuses on sourcing, engaging and placing top technical talent in a remote capacity.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in technical recruitment, strong ATS/CRM experience, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technical recruitment.
• Experience recruiting for IT roles: Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, DevOps, Cybersecurity.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment CRMs.
• Comfortable working remotely within South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT/software roles, including sourcing and screening.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates.
• Conduct candidate screening, assessments and interviews.
• Build relationships with clients to understand technical needs and market insights.
• Utilize sourcing tools, social networks and networks to engage top talent.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and interview processes.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline and KPIs.
