Placements24 is expanding its Pretoria-focused operations and seeks a Senior Technical Recruiter to manage end-to-end IT and software recruitment from anywhere in South Africa. You will source, screen, interview, and place top tech professionals across diverse client projects.

The role emphasizes strong client relationships, proactive market insights, and remote collaboration within a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a strong understanding of IT roles and technologies.
• Experience sourcing candidates for Software Engineers (Java, Python, .NET), Cloud Engineers, DevOps Specialists, and Cybersecurity Analysts.
• Experience working with ATS and recruitment CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of the Pretoria, Gauteng region recruitment market, even in a remote capacity.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for IT and software roles, including developers, engineers, project managers, and cybersecurity specialists.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates in the tech industry.
• Conduct thorough candidate screening, technical assessments, and interviews to ensure alignment with client requirements and company culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical needs and providing market insights.
• Utilize advanced sourcing tools, social media, and professional networks to identify and engage with top talent.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and interview processes.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on pipeline status and KPIs.
