Placements24 is expanding its remote IT recruitment team in South Africa, seeking a Senior IT Recruitment Specialist to source and place top IT professionals for a global client base.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment for software developers, system administrators, cybersecurity, and data scientists; build pipelines; conduct technical screenings; partner with hiring managers; mentor junior recruiters; thrive in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT recruitment with proven success.
• Deep IT industry knowledge across technologies and roles.
• Ability to recruit for niche, high-demand IT roles.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and assessment skills.
• Excellent remote communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with ATS/CRM and recruitment tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for IT roles including software, networks, security and data roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract active and passive IT talent.
• Perform technical screenings and interviews to assess skills.
• Build and maintain a strong IT candidate pipeline via multiple channels.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and culture.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from contact to onboarding.
• Provide market insights on IT talent trends and compensation.
• Mentor junior recruiters and share IT recruitment expertise.
• Ensure exceptional candidate experience throughout.
