Placements24 is seeking a Remote Telecoms Support Engineer to join our distributed team, diagnosing complex network issues, optimizing performance, and shaping robust support strategies.

This remote role requires a technical degree and 4+ years in telecom network support, with expertise in BGP/OSPF, MPLS, IP routing, and experience with Nagios or Zabbix.

You will document solutions and collaborate across teams to ensure high service availability for a global client base.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years in telecom network support or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF, MPLS and IP networking.
• Experience with Nagios or Zabbix for monitoring.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills for remote work.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex network issues.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of incidents.
• Monitor performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Develop solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
• Create and maintain documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
