Placements24 seeks a Senior Process Optimization Engineer to join a remote-first team focused on transforming manufacturing and operational processes across multiple industries. You will lead Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in industrial engineering, proficiency with Arena/AnyLogic/Minitab/SPSS/Power BI, and strong communication to drive changes across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in industrial engineering focusing on process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Lean/Six Sigma certifications (Black Belt desirable) and track record of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using value stream mapping and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies leveraging Lean and Six Sigma.
• Design, simulate, and pilot new process flows aligned with business objectives.
• Use advanced statistics and visualization to interpret performance and forecast trends.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and management to adopt new processes.
• Create detailed SOPs and training materials for remote implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on optimization projects.
• Stay updated on industrial engineering trends and best practices.
• Communicate findings and project status to stakeholders via virtual presentations and reports.
