Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer for a remote-first role. You will analyze, design, and implement efficient production processes to boost productivity, cut costs, and improve product quality across global projects in a distributed environment.

You bring 5–7 years of industrial engineering experience, a strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation (Arena, AnyLogic), and proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams remotely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering and manufacturing optimization.
• Proven experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements.
• Develop and implement new process designs optimizing workflows and equipment utilization.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and production forecasting.
• Model and test process improvements using simulation and statistical analysis.
• Design and manage plant layouts, workstations, and specifications for safety and flow.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, QA, and management to integrate improvements.
• Develop SOPs and provide training to staff.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress on process efficiency.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
