Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will optimize complex processes, drive cost reductions, and apply data-driven insights to enhance productivity and quality across multiple business units.

Responsibilities include designing new processes, conducting time studies, and leading cross-functional projects while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong remote communication and collaboration skills in a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing industrial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Design and implement new processes, workflows, and production systems to meet operational and strategic goals.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity planning, and resource allocation to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track operational efficiency and identify trends.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and management, to ensure successful project implementation.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices in industrial engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.
