Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a fully remote, permanent role. You will optimize complex manufacturing processes, lead virtual improvement initiatives, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential in a remote setting. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in process engineering within manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and proficiency with process simulation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and refine advanced manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Conduct detailed analyses of existing production lines, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Design and test new process methodologies, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to integrate new technologies and procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Monitor KPIs for production processes and report on performance trends.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and operational staff.
Ensure all processes comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Lead and participate in virtual process improvement initiatives and project teams.
Troubleshoot complex process issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
