Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Community Support Manager to lead a dispersed team delivering remote community support services. You will shape strategy, ensure high standards of care, and foster strong client relationships while maintaining compliance with safeguarding and social care regulations.

This remote role requires 5+ years in supervision within social care, a relevant qualification, and proven ability to manage budgets and drive service improvements across virtual teams.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role within community and social care.
• Proven experience managing remote teams delivering services virtually.
• Strong understanding of social care legislation, safeguarding and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate a team and drive results.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant IT systems and digital collaboration tools.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to work autonomously within a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of community support workers with guidance and development.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans for community support services.
• Oversee assessment and management of client needs with person-centred plans.
• Foster relationships with clients, families and external agencies for collaboration.
• Manage budgets and resources to maximise impact of initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures in social care.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation in remote model.
