Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Real Estate Property Developer to join our client’s team in Upington, Northern Cape. The role blends on-site development engagement with remote planning and oversight, focusing on opportunities from acquisition through completion.

You will manage budgets and schedules, lead feasibility studies, coordinate with architects and regulators, and drive market-driven strategies to deliver high‑quality projects in the Northern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive Real Estate development experience.
• Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential real estate development sites and opportunities in Upington and surrounding areas.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling to assess project viability.
• Oversee land acquisition, zoning, permitting, and all necessary regulatory approvals.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure profitable project delivery.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the development process.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for completed projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and local government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, environmental regulations, and Real Estate laws.
