Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a remote-first construction team. You will oversee costs from initial calculations to final figures, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep projects within budget and specifications.

The role requires at least 7 years in the field, a professional QS qualification, and strong skills in cost estimation software and project management tools. This is a fully remote position with competitive salary and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Professional qualification such as PrQS or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, tender and present formal cost estimates and financial reports.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports, monitoring the financial progress of projects.
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the procurement of all necessary resources and services.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and resolve any financial discrepancies that may arise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders remotely to ensure accurate cost control and project financial health.
