Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Quantity Surveyor to manage construction costs and contracts from a remote location. You will perform cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and financial reporting for projects entirely online.

The role requires 5+ years in QS, strong knowledge of contract law and cost estimation, and proficiency with cost management software and virtual collaboration tools. Fully remote work setup is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, cost estimation techniques, and construction economics.
• Proficiency in cost management software and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for various construction projects.
• Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
• Administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports.
• Assess and manage variations and claims, ensuring fair and accurate valuation.
