About the Role

This is a high-impact role responsible for the entire lifecycle of commercial development projects, from initial feasibility studies and site acquisition through to design, construction, and final lease-up or sale. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in managing complex commercial developments, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of the Western Cape property market. You will be instrumental in identifying new development opportunities, securing planning permissions, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and profitable delivery. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial property development management.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial development projects from inception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of the Cape Town property market, including zoning laws, development regulations, and construction practices.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with project financing and pro forma analysis.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
