Placements24 is seeking a strategic Property Development Manager to oversee end‑to‑end development projects in George, Western Cape. You will drive feasibility, land acquisition, planning, construction, and handover within budget and schedule constraints.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage development finance and zoning compliance, and shape marketing strategies for new developments in a growing regional market. A hybrid work model is offered to balance office and site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 7+ years in property development and project management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex development projects.
• Strong financial modeling and construction knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential new property development sites and opportunities.
• Manage all phases of the development process, including feasibility, design, entitlements, and construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure financial viability and timely completion.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and project quality.
• Secure necessary permits and approvals, navigating local planning and zoning laws in George.
• Oversee the marketing and sales strategy for completed developments.
