Job summary

Scatec is seeking a Lead Project Planner in South Africa to own the development and management of integrated master project programmes for renewable energy projects. You will consolidate work breakdown structures, contractor schedules, resources, milestones, and progress reporting to give project teams a reliable delivery view.

You will lead planning across opportunities, development, and delivery, coordinating with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Formal technical qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ EPC project planning experience.
• Advanced Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office proficiency.
• Experience developing and controlling integrated master schedules, baselines, S-curves, and histograms.
• Demonstrated capability in critical-path analysis and schedule-risk evaluation.
• Renewable energy EPC experience and fluent English are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project programmes for opportunities and development activities.
• Prepare and maintain the integrated master programme for the delivery phase.
• Establish schedule baselines, apply cost weightings, and produce forecasting and reporting.
• Integrate contractor schedules into the master programme and align resources.
• Prepare programme basis memoranda with assumptions and calendars.
• Review contractor baselines, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
• Coordinate site planners and provide forward-looking updates to stakeholders.
