Job summary

TotalEnergies South Africa is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high‑impact renewable energy projects in the Eastern Cape. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with government, communities and investors.

The role requires 8+ years in renewable energy project management, a relevant engineering degree, and experience with large-scale projects in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in renewable energy project management.
• Experience with large-scale SA or similar markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PMP/CREP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end renewable project lifecycles from feasibility to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, finance and legal.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with authorities, landowners and utilities.
• Monitor performance, assess risk, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with SA environmental, health and safety regulations.
