Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead large-scale civil construction projects in Upington, Northern Cape. The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and delivery of dams, roads and industrial facilities, with accountability for budget, schedule, safety and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Pro Engineer (Pr. Eng) or SACPCMP registration desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale civil construction projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of large-scale civil construction projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage project teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and regulators.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues and conflicts; ensure quality workmanship.
